David provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. He greeted me immediately when I walked into the store and made me feel welcome. He took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for and provided exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. David was extremely knowledgeable about the furniture and answered all of my questions with confidence. He provided detailed information about my purchase, including measurements, pricing, and different options available, which helped me make an informed decision. He was patient, professional, and never made me feel rushed. Working with David was truly a pleasure. His friendly attitude, expertise, and commitment to helping customers made my shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend asking for David if you visit the store. He is a great asset to the team!

I visited the American Furniture Warehouse location in Katy on 6/10/26 in the evening regarding a warranty resolution letter for a mattress I had previously purchased. Unfortunately, the experience at the front counter was extremely disappointing. When I approached the counter, the three ladies working there made it very apparent that I was interrupting their conversation and that they did not want to assist me. One employee said she had just refreshed her computer and asked Lisa to help me instead. Lisa reprinted my receipt and told me that AFW no longer carried the mattress I had purchased. I was surprised by this because when I went to the back of the store, I saw the mattress on display. A salesperson named Robert then helped me and confirmed that the cashiers would need to process the exchange. When I returned to the front, Lisa told me I needed to call customer service because warranty claims were a long process. I explained that I had already gone through customer service, had a technician come out, and had received a warranty resolution letter. Lisa then said she did not see it in the system and told me I needed to call customer service the next day. I tried to show her the resolution letter, but she told me she could not look at it and that it needed to be in the system. I explained that customer service had specifically told me the next step was to go into the store and arrange delivery. She still insisted she did not see it. At that point, I explained that I do not live close to the store and that everyone else I had spoken with by phone had been able to locate the information. Lisa then told Robert that AFW did not have the mattress. Robert corrected her and said the mattress was on display and that there were 30 in stock. Lisa sighed, but never apologized for giving me incorrect information or for making the process more difficult than it needed to be. Robert was very helpful, and I genuinely believe that if he had not been there, Lisa would have continued insisting that I call customer service instead of helping me resolve the issue in store. I have had very pleasant experiences with AFW in the past, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. This warranty process should not have been made so frustrating, especially when I had already completed the required steps and had the resolution letter with me.
